is the biggest city on our list, with a population of over 115,000. More than half of residents own their homes rather than rent. The median home value is roughly $420,000, while the median rent is just below $2,200 per month. The median income is just over $75,000. Like the prior two suburbs, the local school district includes D’Evelyn Junior/Senior High School, which is the top-rated high school around and the second-best high school in Colorado. Arvada was one of the hottest neighborhoods
to watch in 2020, gaining the city national attention. The city is expanding in many ways, including a commuter train that was finally put into place in 2019 that connects Arvada to Mile High City. There are also over 125 miles of hiking trails throughout the city.
