Buying a home is an extremely daunting process, and in our case, it was even more so due to the fact that we had just moved across the country to live in an area we had only previously visited once. Luckily, we were connected with Jon Mottern, who not only assuaged all our fears of the unknown, but also got us excited about the process. Jon is extremely well-versed in the Denver market and when we told him what we were looking for, he crafted a search that only yielded the results that were suitable to us. It didn't matter how many homes we immediately turned down on sight, he always had another option for us, so I never felt like our back was against the wall. When we were really ready to get serious about making an offer, Jon was prepared. He met us the day after returning from his vacation in Paris, jet lagged yet still completely motivated and ready to put our needs first! That Sunday we fell in love with a home and he immediately got to work on writing an offer that we were comfortable with so we could submit it that night. He also gave us his honest opinion about the home and what he thought might make it difficult for resale down the road, which I sincerely appreciated. I never got the impression that he was just in it for the sale but instead felt genuinely taken care of throughout the whole process, knowing he had our best interest in mind. Jon truly puts his clients first - he was in constant contact with us, even while on vacation, and wanted to make sure that the home we ended up in would be exactly what we wanted. Thanks to his negotiation skills, we were able to attain a credit from the seller and go under contract $10k under list price! I could not recommend him more! If it wasn't for Jon, my husband and I wouldn't be moving into our dream home - within our price range, in a family neighborhood and in a great school district! We will never use anyone else!
